The creation of other worlds and of otherworldly creatures in my work has been greatly inspired by the fantasy genre. I have drawn inspiration from many fantasy films and novels due to the exciting imagery displayed within them that is foreign to our everyday lives and allows us to escape from reality. The theatricality and mixture of props and sets  in cinema and theatre are also apparent in my multimedia practice.
